Refund & Return Policy

At Ebike King NJ, we stand behind our products and services. To maintain high safety standards and competitive pricing, we have established the following policy regarding returns, damages, and exchanges.


1. 15-DAY RETURN WINDOW


In accordance with New Jersey law, we disclose that all returns must be initiated within 15 calendar days of the date of purchase (for in-store sales) or the date of delivery (for online orders). After 15 days, all sales are final.


2. DAMAGES AND ISSUES


Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

  • Shipping/Freight Damage: If your e-bike or part arrives damaged, you must document the damage with photos and contact us at [kenseigler.ebikes@gmail.com] within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  • Defective Items: If the item is defective or "dead on arrival," we will evaluate the issue and either provide a replacement part or initiate a warranty claim with the manufacturer.
  • Wrong Item: If you receive the incorrect item, do not open the packaging or install the part. Contact us immediately for a pre-paid exchange label.


3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS & LIMITATIONS


To ensure customer safety and comply with hazardous material regulations, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned:

  • Lithium-Ion Batteries: Due to high-risk safety concerns and strict federal Hazmat shipping regulations, all battery sales are final.
  • Electrical Components: Controllers, motors, displays, and wiring harnesses that have been removed from packaging or installed.
  • Special Orders: Any item or bike color/model specifically ordered for you that is not part of our standard stock.
  • Used Merchandise: E-bikes with more than 10 miles on the odometer or signs of tire wear/dirt are ineligible for return.
  • Service & Labor: All repair labor and diagnostic fees are non-refundable.


4. EXCHANGES


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (if eligible), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

  • Size/Fit: For e-bikes, we offer a 24-hour "Fit Verification" window. If the bike is the wrong size, you may exchange it for the correct size (if in stock) provided the bike has not been ridden outside.


5. REFUNDS & RESTOCKING FEES


  • Restocking Fee: All eligible returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This covers our costs for safety inspections, re-tuning, and administrative processing.
  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
